Cub Scout Day Camp Huge Success!!!!

Scouts and Leaders from Pack 110 attended the Carroll County Cub Scout Day Camp June 23-27, 2008 and enjoyed every minute!!!

Full-time Pack 110 volunteer leader Bill Goode manned the BB gun range and veteran day camp leader Vicki Eilbacher assisted one of the Webelos Dens named "The Kings" with their activities.

The pack 110 Webelos (Peter Swan, Kyle Eilbacher, Kirk Ritchie, and Ryan Rattell) were able to obtains numerous belt loops and pins to include; Science beltloop and pin, Weather beltloop and pin, Engineer activity badge, Archery beltloop, Map and compass belt loop and pin, Ultimate beltloop and pin, Chess beltloop, and finally the BB-Gun Shooting beltloop and pin.
In their 'spare' time the boys built a catapult, rubber band powered boats for moat racing (thanks to volunteer Jay Christy), and competed in "Knight Knock Down" and jousting.
The week ended with skit performances from each den and a special presentation on medieval weapons.

I highly recommend this camp to the cub scouts in pack 110, Webelos especially can take advantage of earning badges and beltloops!!!

Next big event for Webelos is Webelos Woods in October, another great district event. Get ready to sign-up!!!
